Team Viewer is an expert in remote support, providing AR solutions for inspection and maintenance. The software, which can be used to remotely control, manage and monitor processes, is already installed on more than 2.5 billion devices – and will be integrated into Almer Technologies’ smart glasses in the future. This is because TeamViewer has won the Swiss augmented reality specialist as a strategic partner. With its Almer Arc AR glasses, the company offers a new form of communication for remote maintenance and customer service. This enables processes to be optimised and time and costs to be saved – simply and easily.
A unique ecosystem
“Together we are creating a system that is unique,” says Sebastian Beetschen, CEO of Almer. “Because our solution is ‘enterprise-ready’. Users can deploy the glasses immediately and use them for many different purposes.” Whether in assembly and production or in inspection and maintenance, employees can communicate with external experts via the integrated camera and quickly receive specialist assistance. The Almer Arc is also an interesting support for the logistics industry, for example for manual order picking or warehouse management.
