Bern, Switzerland, September 9, 2024 – Vi Partners, Switzerland’s leading venture capital firm, has led a new funding round of 3 million USD in Almer Technologies. Kickfund also participated in this investment, which will help Almer accelerate its innovation in Augmented Reality (AR).

With the Almer Arc 2, the Swiss start-up Almer Technologies is enabling a new form of communication in the fields of remote maintenance, customer service and guided work in logistics. According to CTO and co-founder Timon Binder, Almer’s AR headset, Arc 2, is a lightweight, user-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to the heavy, complex, and expensive options currently on the market.
